Well, here’s an easy write-up. Having recently received confirmation that Bobtail the Bunny’s Choc-a-riffic adventure is an alteration-free re-branding of A Great Easter Egg Hunt enacted to lessen that missed-the-boat aura, I can simply point you to that review, and go have a nap. Did you miss me Mr. Snuggly? This title was 200 Points [...]

So, it’s here then. The much trumpeted Kodu finally lands on the Indie Games service. Microsoft Research Team’s “easy” game creator, put together in XNA, released on the XNA dev service and rather awkwardly, subject to the same limitations that everything else on the service is subject to. So, that’s an 8 minute trial of [...]

Actually, Bobby, I think I’d rather not, thanks. Bobby Says is a very basic Simon Says clone, with Bobby the block sitting in the middle of the screen, he gives you a sequence of ‘moves’ to follow by pressing the ABXY buttons. You then need to repeat this pattern to continue. You can also play [...]

Beat IT! from developer MonsuneMoon is the videogame interpretation of Bop It!, a “Simon Says” type toy that kinda took the world by storm a couple of years ago. It doesn’t do anything new and it doesn’t do everything right and it is nowhere near as fun as the real thing. Nuff said.

Five word review: “Ghosts, Hearts, Love, Creepiness, Awkwardness” In 2win Ghost (or Twin Ghost, depending on whether the game can make it’s mind up or not) is a game in which you control two ghosts independently with the thumbsticks. The aim of the game is to collect all the hearts in a level, and then [...]

Community Games is host to a dozen or thereabouts multi-player-only mini-games. Presented for your consideration: another one — Fishbowl. Fishbowl is a nicely presented though rather static game where you race to fill your score-o-meter by eating shrimp and avoiding mines which empty your meter. Periodically, a power-up pearl pops in which has one of [...]

MemoStomp is a game best played with a dance mat, it would seem. The aim being to match up identical cards by treading on the correct positions. Whilst we’re not entirely convinced it’d be a whole load more fun than it is with a controller, we can clearly see it’d still be more fun. An [...]
