Hark! One sentence I do bring (of) Indies which last week did spring…

Avatar Match
Competitive memory match with Avatars. 80 Points.

Avatar Wave: Snowball Fight
Pretty much exactly what you’d expect, nicely done, plus a screen saver (yay?) 240 Points.

Colaris
…because what Indie Games really needed was another simple button color matching game. 80 Points.

Cut And Run
Avatars on cutouts in Track and Field style sprints and hurdles. 80 Points.

Dot Error
Defender-esque game with awesome presentation but somewhat awkward controls. 80 Points.

Game Created by a 5th Grader
Shoot down various airships and the crates/pilots/passengers they drop. 80 Points.

Goblyn Stomp
Faux Oldde Englysh goblyn stomp romp, while simple, is well presented, and has a lovely pile of corpses to stand triumphantly upon at the end. 80 Points.

Grave Breaker
Undead splattering shooty game with rapidly changing challenges. 80 Points.

Home Run Challenge
Timing-based home run derby. 80 Points.

Magnetic Defender
Try to attract or repulse projectiles away from your missiles while playing a shooter…then juggle chainsaws while performing brain surgery as an encore. 240 Points.

Painting Party
Let’s Draw A picture Together! pointlessly fortified with non-essential Avatars. 80 Points.

PanopLines
Welcome to Endless Variations On The Same Theme Volume 4, though this one at least seems more playable. 80 Points.

PARTYBOAT
A slightly risqué cross between a “Sim Cruise” game and a 1970′s sitcom, chock full of well-acted humorous dialogue. 400 Points.

Pilot Test
Avoid bouncing shapes for as long as possible…or for 20 seconds in the Trial. 80 Points.

Sidehill Gouger
The most detailed version of Hunt the Wumpus that I have ever seen. 80 Points.

Snail Shot Torpedo
Good concept, nicely presented, but questionably executed. 400 Points.

Square Off
Well animated cartoon blob shooter. 240 Points.

The Flight Before Christmas!
Button matching and timing…if it were only synced to music it could be “Christmas Hero”. 80 Points.

I won a competition to choose a name for one of those games, can you guess which?
I haven’t got my download code for it yet though -boo hiss!
Goblyn Stomp & Snowball Fight are both pretty fun. Nice to see more polished games getting released.
I found Square Off to be slightly disappointing in single player. It might be a good multiplayer but unfortunately I can’t test that side.
Really enjoyed Avatar Wave: Snowball Fight thought and dip in and out of Home Run Challenge for a few mins.
“pointlessly fortified with non-essential Avatars”
So what you’re saying is………..it would fit right in on XBLA
