A Robots Conundrum puts you in control of a little box robot which is used to push a precious block of cargo to the goal. The box can only fall so far before it breaks, so you need to be careful. At your robot’s disposal are the power to drill down breakable blocks, and the ability to fly for brief periods of time.
The principle behind the game is quite simple, but surprisingly fun. The gameplay feels like sokoban meets Mr.Driller, with your robot having to drill down and push blocks around to make sure your cargo doesn’t get stuck.
The graphics are quite basic, but functional, the blocks all look quite simplistic, and the animations are quite cheap. The menu’s could also use some polish. There are a few non-obtrusive sound effects, but the audio is redeemed by some quite good music tracks.
The game also advertises it’s co-op and versus multiplayer as well as a level editor. This game definitely gives you plenty for your money, and is well worth a try.
A Robots Conundrum was developed by The Riddler 24 and is available for 200 Points
