Pirate Cubes is a simple beat ‘em up with a charming style and a bit of humor. It looks like Peter Conti had a lot of fun making it, and that’s the sort of thing I wholeheartedly endorse.
Unfortunately, the gameplay is so broken I really can’t recommend giving it a chance.

i think this game was made for kids or something. although i would tell a kid that this game is an example of what not to do when you make a game.
i failed this game because the gameplay was broken, but in the end i was banned.
Hehe…
While I would like games to be peer reviewed based on technical stability AND gameplay cohesiveness, I’d assume it would backfire, because people would then often fail games based on their personal perception, and not how well the game itself handles problems.
“but in the end i was banned.”
You weren’t banned for failing this game so don’t try to make yourself out to be some kind of martyr. 8|
Learn to follow rules and play nice with other kids and you won’t be banned again.
i’ve spent my entire life learning how to not follow rules lol. anyway, your ideas of cause and effect are antiquated for sure. but i dont want to go offtopic.
note: there is only ever one topic.
What I liked about it is that it was something different. We haven’t yet seen many fighters and we probably won’t be seeing many more of them.
But yeah…not anything I’d buy.
Gee thanks guys, you could be a bit more nice.
Well, I highlighted the positive aspects and decided against spending multiple paragraphs describing its shortcomings, instead tossing out a vague generality anyone would feel free to contest.
I really don’t see how I could have been nicer sans lying.
