Oh dear, an unfortunate casualty of the recent change from a 4 minute trial to 8 minute trial (details here for those who haven’t spotted it yet – perhaps now is the time to go and reinvestigate any games that you found the time crippled your trial experience for?) and perhaps a fine example of why trying to second guess Microsoft’s manoeuvres isn’t the smartest idea. After around 3 1/2 minutes into the trial you’ll find yourself with the entire view obscured by a splash screen telling you to save your work. Whoops!
Anyway, EZMuze is another of those wonderful Ronseal titles that does precisely what it says on the tin. A sort of basic tracker/loop creation thingymajig that does precisely what it sets out to do. Whether it’s any use is another matter but I’m possibly the last person in a position to pass comment given I’ve spent far too much of my life tinkering with audio stuffage. The loops themselves are all serviceable enough and there’s certainly nothing that sounds drastically out of place – although y’know, house music just isn’t my bag baby – not since The KLF packed their bags up and retreated to more arty pursuits.
All that said, I’m always fond of stuff that tries to encourage folks to be a bit creative and at 200 points, there’s really little for me to gripe at. With the promise of more loops to come, perhaps this could spark off someone’s interest in making sweet, sweet love music.
This title was 200 Points at the time of writing this review but has since been reduced to 80 Points.

Thanks for the review (I be madninjaskillz) – Im about to release a new version with an increased time limit (and probably throw in about another 20 loops too)
Obviously I am at the mercy of the peer reviewers and since ive already been released i will be bottom priority.
once thats out of the way, im working on a major update that will allow you to send songs to friends.
Im already working on the second edition which is going to be a lot lot bigger and im no longer the guy with the sequencer – ive got a rather skilled proffesional taking the reigns this time.
