Sorry for the delay on this one but after much discussion at xnPlay towers we realised that none of us actually really enjoy Sudoku in any way whatsoever and that made it a tad difficult for any of us to review it.
However, upon glancing across at our discussion my good lady wife came to the rescue and threw herself into the wild den that is Couples Sudoku to give us her thoughts.
And Sudoku fans may be rather glad to discover that much to even my surprise (she generally loathes computerised versions of such games), the good lady Bobwife managed to sit there for multiple plays of the trial period and aside from griping at being taunted by an onscreen pencil (best not to ask…) she was rather satisfied by what Couples Sudoku had to offer. The presentation and the interface were dandy it would seem and not once did the controller end up attempting to reside somewhere between my eyes. I’m counting that as a win.
Due to my reticence to get involved in any way in a competitive match (the last time we played a game together it was Wii Sports and she gave me a dead arm every time I scored a point, no way am I putting myself through that again) I’m afraid we’re unable to pass comment on the two player segments, but I’m sure they’re every bit as great as the single player experience that appealed to the missus. At 200 Points it’s the same price as No Frills Sudoku only with more polish and more features… *strokes beard*
Video after the jump:
This title was 200 Points at the time of writing this review but has since been reduced to 80 Points.

These automated comments are pretty confusing. What exactly is their purpose?
They let you find pages that have linked to this page. It does get a bit annoying when those pages are other pages from this site, though.
