We at XNPlay like to think that we can make a difference, and when we make criticisms, we make them for a reason. It’s good to know that there are developers out there willing to listen.
When we last reviewed Monaco 360 (here), it was a little unbalanced and somewhat frustrating because of how the opposing cars behave when the road is thin. Twojame has addressed these issues, and a shiny new version of Monaco 360 is available for download.
The cars in Monaco 360 now make a slightly smoother turn when they hit the sides of the road, and when the road thins, they move vertically, making avoiding them fair game. The cars also move at the same speed, so you won’t find yourself carefully overtaking a car just for another to come crashing down from above. The speed penalty for hitting another vehicle has also been tweaked.
With these fixes in place, Monaco 360 is looking well worth the 200 points it’s asking for, and definitely worth a try.

Purchased, but seems a bit short…not much remains that wasn’t Trial accessible. But again, was cheap, is fun.
I actually tried this for the first time last night and I was thinking your first preview was off the mark. This explains it, heheh. I agree, fun little game and those fixes were crucial…good advice.
I was thinking that since this is a vertical game, and that 16:9 TVs are wider than taller, you could effectively turn this into a 4P racer with 4 screens beside each other. Something to think about for future games perhaps?

Interesting points by all. nrXic, that is a very intersting feature. Something that is being considered for the sequel.
I’m also giving consideration to a “Monaco 360 – Hi Spec Racing” version… More levels, more speed etc… I’ll keep you guys posted.

These improvements make the game much more balanced an fun. Well worth the 200 points an a great burst play game.
