Ladybird Galaxy is a very pretty but shallow almost Flash-esque game. The basic concept is that you arc your little spacecraft around the playfield collecting gems for points. Collecting stars gives you a speed boost and allows you to build up your multiplier.
With lovely presentation (see Blue Skies in Gaming campaign) and enough pretty particle effects to sink a battleship, it’s cheap, cheerful and fun. For those amongst our audience with friends, multiplayer modes are also included.
Video after the jump.
Ladybird Galaxy is 200 Points.
This title was 200 Points at the time of writing this review but has since been reduced to 80 Points.

I just gave this a try, and I thought it was a nice little collect-em-up.
The controls work and the gameplay isn’t horribly broken. In comparison to most of the CC games at the moment, it fares well.
I doubt it’d keep me entertained for more than half an hour, but it passed the 4-minute time limit quite easily.
Definitely better than RPaints
Hi, I’m the developer of the game. Thank you for the feedback and the nice comments!
I’m just a little curious, do you think the gameplay is broken? If so, can you describe in what way?
I enjoyed the trial version as well, nice little game. I had more fun with it than with Geometry Wars. However I think there’s not much to make me buy it even though it’s only 200 points. I can see myself playing the trial several times in the future, but I guess 4 minutes is enough for me. I need more progression in a game than just score. Powerups, new worlds, something to look forward to.
@Jens
Hi, i enjoyed the demo very much, thank you.
But, if possible, add some other multiplayer features to make it worth (with some cool mods and stuff, 400points wouldn’t hurt me..)
Just an example, snake360 is A LOT fun multiplayer-ish speaking (at least i like that game!!)
