While there are a couple of Community Games we hope are jokes, and possibly more we wish were jokes, Swords And Monsters actually is a joke game.
A series of menus where you press the ‘A’ button four times describes the entirety of the game. The only reason to purchase the full game is to make a gift to the author (who says as much), as you can easily see all three endings well within the Trial time limit. In fact, if you don’t bother to listen to the mildly amusing narrative when you start the quest, you can complete it in under a second.
Bizarrely, this nothing of a ‘game’ has a better and more professional presentation than most anything on the Community Games channel. Please, Triple A Studios, make a real game!
