Disappointingly, Fruit Attack contains no fruit that attack. We were hoping for a bit of fruit on player action, but sadly it was not to be. Instead Fruit Attack is a rough take on Sega’s Columns replacing the shiny graphics with dull and muggy fruits. There are four single player modes to choose from.
With a split screen 2 player mode, some fun could be garnered in a more combatative fruit challenge, but there are far better puzzle games on the service. As a whole it’s serviceable but would have benefited from more polish in the graphics department and the controls feeling more fluid.
Fruit Attack is 400 points and was developed by ScrumThorax.
This title was 400 points at the time of writing this review but has since been reduced to 80 Points.
